Adrien & Iro have founded The Argentine Tango School, with the goal of creating a Center of Excellence for the Argentine Tango Dance & Culture in the United Kingdom.

Taught by legends of Tango including Geraldine Rojas & Ezequiel Paludi, Gabriel Angio & Natalia Games, Nito & Elba Garcia, Natalia Hills, Sebastian Arce, Francisco Forquera, Leandro Oliver and many others, Adrien & Iro have dedicated themselves to transmiting their knowledge of Tango to a new generation.

Professional Dancers, Choregraphers, Maestros & Judges, they have chosen London as a base to tranmit their knowledge & their passion.

Meet ADRIEN BARIKI-ALAOUI: passion & MASTERY! ❤️‍🔥

Adrien has established himself as one of the Leading Maestro of Argentine Tango in the UK & in Europe.

Youngest ever UK & European Champion, Adrien started Tango as a child, influenced by his father who lived 15 years in Buenos Aires in the 1980s and 1990s and danced Tango almost every night for more than a decade, training with Legends like Virulazo & Elvira.

He started his formal training at La Viruta, the most famous Argentine Tango School and Milonga (Tango Bal) in the World. Training for 4-5 hours everyday, with the goal of becoming a World-Leading dancer, Adrien learnt everything there is to know about Tango, from the steps to the music, culture, history, fashion & performing-art.

Although a reknown performer and dancer, the real passion of Adrien lies in the Transmission of Argentine Tango to others. Founders of The Argentine Tango School, teaching more than 50 hours per week, he is one of the most experienced Maestros leaving in the United Kingdom. He has developped a unique expertise of Biomechanics, Anatomy, Science of Movements & their application to Argentine Tango.

Meet IRO DAVLANTI-LO: expression & power! 🌹

Iro Davlanti-Lo is the only woman in History to win the European Championship twice in the Follower Category.

A generational-talent, passionate about Argentine Tango since she was 5 years old, Iro grew up in Athens, Greece, and showed very early prodigy-like qualities in many domains: dancing, painting, design & fashion.

She studied close to 15 different dance styles: Ballet, Greek Folklore, Latin, Ballroom, Contemporary, African Traditional Dances, Capoeira & many others!

With a style immediately recognizable, nicknamed “The Maria Calles of Tango”, for her lyricism, dramaturgy and power, Iro has simply redefined the role of Follower in the Tango World.

Not only an exceptional dancer, she is the Founder of Davlanti Tango Couture, the Leading Tango Haute Couture brand in the United Kingdom. She has made dresses for many of the most famous dancers in the World, including Geraldine Rojas & Lorena Tarantino.

Iro has also directed Movies about Argentine Tango and graduated from a Master in Architecture from the most prestigious School in the World: The Architectural Association in London.
